Available field types include single-line text, multi-line text, checkboxes, radio button groups, dropdown menus, list boxes, date pickers, and signature fields. Each field type has specific properties for validation, formatting, and default values.
Calculation fields support JavaScript expressions that reference other form fields. Common use cases include summing numeric fields, computing percentages, and conditionally showing or hiding fields based on selections elsewhere in the form.
Tab order defines the sequence in which fields receive focus when the user presses Tab. The form creator can automatically set tab order based on visual position (top to bottom, left to right) or allow custom ordering.
Export options include fillable PDF, HTML form, and XFA format. The fillable PDF is most widely compatible, while XFA provides additional features for complex enterprise forms.
