PDF Batch Automation Framework

Scriptable automation framework for high-volume PDF processing. Chain operations with conditional logic and parallel execution.

The automation framework accepts job definitions in YAML format, describing sequences of operations to apply to input files. Each step specifies an operation type, parameters, and optional conditions that determine whether the step executes.

Conditional branching evaluates document properties like page count, file size, color space usage, and metadata values. This enables different processing paths for different document types within a single job definition.

Parallel execution distributes work across multiple CPU cores, processing independent files simultaneously. A configurable thread pool manages resource allocation, and progress reporting tracks completion across all active workers.

Error handling supports retry with backoff, fallback operations, and quarantine directories for files that fail processing. A detailed job report logs every operation with timing data and outcome status.
